Collection documents two potential subdivisions in Douglas County, Colorado, and the Planning Commission meetings and correspondence that led the developer of Creek Ranch to withdraw the application for development before the planning commission hearings occurred. The Canyons was narrowly defeated by the Planning Commission as part of the approval process. Collection includes land use applications, pre-application reviews, planning commission application packages, Douglas County Planning Commission Materials, design guideline books, memos, meeting agendas, minutes, newspaper articles and mailings to the public about the subdivisions.
